Sata Power Adapter, New Jersey How Can I Power An Older IDE Hard Drive With A Power Supply With Only SATA Power?

How can I power an older IDE Hard Drive with a Power Supply with Only SATA power? - sata power adapter, new jersey

I just bought a new computer, a Dell Inspiron 530th It has nothing of the old 4-pin cable from the power supply, a new SATA power.

I have an older hard drive that connects via the gray IDE cable (ribbon). I've already bought the card that converts IDE to SATA, and is connected to the motherboard.

Here lies the problem: the IDE drive with a 4-pin power connector powered I saw in the power supply before them all. The IDE to SATA converter with an extension of the 4-pin connector provided. But the power of the tower is not 4-pin power adapter. It has a free SATA power supplies.

In trying, to get my SATA power, the conversion of the old-style 4-pin IDE power (female) and makingin the range of 4-pin (male), that the powers of my SATA and IDE converter.

Most converters to go a different route ... Please post links for some examples, because I do not find anything to do with me what I'm looking for
