How do I lower my venetian blinds? (Just installed)? - how to install ikea slatted bed base

I have just a few blinds LINDMON IKEA at home.

The bands and groups, as when I bought it.

The cable is very long, and tried to leave by the coil of rope, but I had no luck.

Is it possible that I missed a step in preparing to hang the blinds? I feel like I am, not to mention but the instructions from IKEA, seem to be something about it.
